DePaul transfer guard Conor Enright has committed to Indiana, according to a report from On3 Sports on Wednesday afternoon. This marks the first commit for head coach Darian DeVries and the Hoosiers.
Enright, an Illinois native, averaged 7.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 6.2 assists in his junior season with the Blue Demons. Prior to last season, the guard played his first two seasons under DeVries at Drake University.
The incoming senior brings experience from the perimeter. In his sophomore season with DeVries, Enright shot 43-for-98 (44%) from the 3-point line, which will only enhance the modernized offense DeVries looks to achieve in his first season at the helm in Bloomington.
Enright completed his visit to the IU campus on Tuesday night. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
Enright’s commitment will most certainly be a key in the continued program turnaround DeVries seeks to build.
