NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Bracketology: Colin McMahon’s bracket projections (Feb. 1)

Three new teams entered the field, which also means three teams previously in are out

It’s officially February! As we draw closer to Selection Sunday (just 45 days away, but who’s counting?), the bracket will change more and more, and this week’s update is no different. Several top teams such as Kentucky, Dayton and Oklahoma, have all suffered upsets recently and are down. Many teams are trending up, such as Iowa State, Alabama and South Carolina, who are all looking great after their big wins this past week.

The bubble is as crowded as ever, with so many teams fighting for just a few final spots. In this week’s edition, we’ve got three new teams to the field, which also means three teams previously in are out. All this makes for a very exciting end to the season, one that should have several more bracket shakeups!
